ABOUT US

FOUNDER

Ozzie is a single mother of one, a son on whom she dotes. She migrated from the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean to win simultaneous dance scholarships at Alvin Ailey's, Joffrey Ballet and Martha Graham schools.

Later she became the first black female to have her own successful showroom on 42nd Street and Broadway, in the heart of Times Square, in the garment industry. She is still living in Manhattan, NY, for over 40 years after a nomadic childhood living in the US, London and Trinidad. She fell back into the entertainment industry as an actor and commercial model, and later began a YouTube series in the Fall of 2019, which has now been transformed into a Podcast series in the Covid spring of 2020, where she takes great joy in shining light on the lives and careers of everyday people, who are the stars in her eyes. In 2022, Ozzie became a Best Selling Author and Award Winning Actress. In 2023, she returned to live podcast episodes and created her non-profit: Beyond The Call  which serves as the blueprint for people to take action on issues of: abuse, addiction, human trafficking, homelessness, animal welfare and our climate.

ON THE CALL PODCAST

ON THE CALL is my Thank You Tour where each episode is a Thank You card to those who have impacted her life in one way or another. On The Call began as a video series as can be seen at: youtube.com/ozziestewart then became a podcast because of Covid-19. The wish is that each chat shines a light on each life and in turn leaves a live record for all time. Her advocacies are the: Trini Corner series, in honor of the Trinidadian diaspora, The Hard Issues of life and showing and living in gratitude - a space in which loves exists.
